Dr. Keith Slough

President, CEO

In 1983, I founded Christian Fellowship Ministries to sponsor a ministry outreach which would eventually go around the world. A radio broadcast was begun that same year and has continued now for over 30 consecutive years. A local Bible Study was begun in the Kannapolis-Concord area of North Carolina which later was to become a nondenominational church beginning with the initial service held the first weekend in January 1984. Christian Fellowship Ministries was later incorporated in 1984 and received full status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that same year. By the mid 1980′s, our radio coverage through AM and short-wave stations was reaching 100 nations around the world.

I became keenly aware of the need for additional ministers to assist me in this Ministry when one of the radio stations I was broadcasting on in England received an impressive number of responses. Even from Germany, a letter came asking if we had a local church for a listener to attend. It was then that I realized we would need trained college graduates who would be willing to go to Europe and other parts of the world before we resumed radio coverage in those areas. Our primary focus now in the Ministry is to train additional “laborers” to go into the massive harvest that exists around the world and to preach the Gospel to those who have never heard or accepted it.
