Mission Statement:
The college was founded with the purpose of educating all interested students in the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and to prepare academically those who seek to serve in Christian service occupations such as full-time ministry or other areas of service in the church. It is the goal of the college to offer opportunities to all industrious students for possible full time employment with Christian Fellowship Ministries or the college after graduation. A program is offered to diligent students where they can potentially become full-time staff members even before finishing their first year. As the educational arm of Christian Fellowship Ministries, Incorporated, it is hoped that a number of students will wish to work in cooperation with the sponsoring Ministry in becoming full-time ordained ministers, college instructors and staff members. In addition to opportunities in the United States, plans are also being made for graduates to have opportunities to serve in other countries in educational, evangelistic, and pastoral work. During the first years of the operation of Ambassador Christian College, ground floor opportunities for employment and staff positions will be at an optimum. All prospective students are encouraged to enroll as early as possible to be eligible for leadership positions within the college and the Ministry for ministerial, faculty, and staff positions, directors and/or trustees positions, etc. that will be available. Many of these “ground floor” opportunities for top career positions with either the college or Christian Fellowship Ministries will not be repeated in future years. Accreditation:
Ambassador Christian college is a fully accredited Theological Institution receiving its full accreditation in 2003 from the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions, Inc. We were also accredited by the Worldwide Accrediting Commission of Christian Educational Institutions.
Governance of the College:
Ambassador Christian College is a Theological Institution for the purposes of religious education and is operated under the auspices and governed by the Board of Directors of Christian Fellowship Ministries, Incorporated, in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of that corporation which is a legally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Article XXII of the Constitution and Bylaws of Christian Fellowship Ministries, Inc. states in Section 1: “The purposes for which the corporation is organized are exclusively religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1954 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law.” The preamble of the Constitution and Bylaws of the corporation states that the members of the Board of Directors of Christian Fellowship Ministries, Inc., in order to “comply with any and all federal, state, and local civic laws, do ordain and establish this Constitution and Bylaws for Christian Fellowship Ministries…and for any and all its subsidiary organizations, associations, churches, school, colleges and any and all parties affiliated or associated with the corporation whatsoever.” Thus, Ambassador Christian College is governed solely by the Board of Directors of Christian Fellowship Ministries, Inc. and the Constitution and Bylaws of that corporation.
Legal Statement:
This degree program of study has been declared by the appropriate state authority exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina General Statues Section (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards. Addendum: This publication is not a contract or offer to contract.
